Support to Organisations

Applications are now being accepted from Arts Festivals and Arts Venues towards the costs of programmes in 2021.

Arts Office announces special Arts Festival & Events Support Scheme for 2021.

Closing Date for Expression of Interest - Friday 5th March 2021

Given current restrictions, rather than seeking applications for funding for arts festivals, Leitrim County Council Arts Office is this year seeking expressions of interest from previous and new arts festival organisers who wish to host events and activities that can take place in 2021. As well as hosting in-person and/or virtual events, festival organisers can consider seeking support for other activities such as the commissioning of new work, the development/publication of a festival on-line archive, and costs associated with the recruitment and training of festival committee, staff and volunteers.

To register an expression of interest, simply contact the arts office on or 071 96 21694 and tell us about your plans, such as they are at present. Once registered we will seek to assist festivals individually and collectively to develop a programme to a point where a funding application can be prepared and submitted.

The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is Midnight on Friday 5th March.

There is no closing date for submission of any subsequent application for funding but only those festivals who submit an expression of interest by Friday 5th March can go on to seek funding for events this year.

For further information please email, or telephone 071 96 21694.
